As part of The Good Friday Agreement: Work in Progress Exhibition, marking 25 years of the Good Friday Agreement we are screening Belfast. The film follows a young boy’s childhood at the beginning of The Troubles in 1969, before the Good Friday Agreement sought to bring an end to the violence and promote co-operation between communities.
Belfast won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in 2022 and a BAFTA.
