If you are not familiar with his work, then join us in a relaxed atmosphere for an easy introduction to the novels of John Steinbeck. There will be a presentation on ‘Migrants in Northern Ireland’ by Kathryn Alleyne who works with refugees in N.I and a keynote talk by Queens University Lecturer Linda Mc Keown on Steinbeck’s novel, The Grapes of Wrath. You will have the chance to be in the audience too, for the first-ever international link-up between the Steinbeck Festival, Limavady and the National Steinbeck Center, Salinas, California and get to hear music by the very talented Co. Down singer songwriter, Matt Mc Ginn.
*Come along and meet our mascot ‘Charley the Dog’ who will make a guest appearance in the dog friendly, Café Piazza, from 11am on Saturday 18th Feb.
