Writer James Simpson launches his debut novel, True Colours, in conversation with internationally acclaimed writer Bernie McGill. Based in Derry and Dunseverick, James is an Irish Novel Fair finalist and runner-up in the prestigious Francis McManus Competition, and published his short story collection Smokes and Birds in 2021.
Winner of the 2023 Edge Hill Short Story Prize for her collection This Train is For, Bernie is the author of two novels and another short story collection and is a Fellow with the Royal Literature Fund.
True Colours is published by Colmcille Press this Autumn.
