Tea Dance with The Victory Rollers

Friday 27th May, 1pm - 3pm

FREE ADMISSION but booking essential

Take a trip down memory lane in a special vintage tea dance especially for our local senior citizens to enjoy an afternoon of tea, sandwiches, traybakes and nostalgia from days gone by. The Victory Rollers will have you on your feet as they perform songs from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’. Dance the afternoon away with lots of social dancing or just sit back and soak up the atmosphere. Period costume strongly encouraged!

Admission is free but booking is essential as numbers are limited to 60.

The Victory Rollers:

Inspired by the sound of groups like The Andrew’s Sisters and The Chordettes, The Victory Rollers will take you on a journey back in time as they recreate the sounds of the vinyl era. Don’t miss this rare vintage experience.

The group has performed at various public and private functions, including the 75th D-DAy commemorations at The Waterfront Hall and Christian Aid’s benefit gala at the Ulster Hall. They entertained the crowds at Dal Riada Festival last year and at Wallace Park for Armed Forces Day. They've also appeared as guests of Gerry Kelly and John Toal on their Radio Ulster shows, singing live for the listeners.

Self produced shows include the Belfast Barge, the Empire Music Hall, and the Black Box.

“Brilliant!” - John Toal, BBC Radio Ulster
