As part of our ArtBeat initiative, come and enjoy a unique experience in the summer woodland of Downhill Forest. This well-being walk and sketch session will be led by Deborah Mullan of Tree and Tide. Deborah is a trained Physiotherapist and Accredited Psychotherapist who will teach you tools to reduce stress, explain how nature impacts our bodies, emotions, and minds for good and help you to find calm, to connect and relax in nature.

This is a great way to get to know a local nature spot in a new way. The session will include a little casual sketching as part of the experience. (No artistic talent is required, and you won’t be asked to share your sketch with anyone else).Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and a few layers for shady areas.

Use promo code CONCESSION on Eventbrite to access the concession rate when purchasing tickets online. Concession rates apply to students, those aged 65 years and older and those who are unwaged. Please note that you may be asked to supply your student ID or ID at the door of the event when presenting your concession ticket.

This activity is part of our ArtBeat initiative focused on mindfulness and well-being through nature and creativity.
