An unmissable night brought to you as part of the Bounce Arts Festival 2024. Audiences will experience a magical collaboration between two artists at the height of their professional careers, coming together for the first time in this special evening.

University of Atypical for Arts and Disability is proud to include this event as part of Bounce 2024 the arts festival showcases arts created by d/Deaf, Disabled and Neurodiverse creatives regionally. Ruth McGinley, a celebrated pianist from Derry, has gained recognition as one of Ireland’s leading musicians. Known for her free-spirited approach, Ruth has performed at prestigious venues like the National Concert Hall in Dublin, Southbank Centre in London, and the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.

Alice McCullough, an award-winning performance poet and disability rights advocate from Belfast, captivates audiences with her unconventional poetry. Her work, praised by Van Morrison and Stephen Fry, includes a BBC-commissioned short film and a collection of poems on disability activism.
