A quiet room. A body on the table. A voice that shouldn’t still be speaking.
When Jennifer, a mortuary make-up artist, begins preparing the body of a young man who has taken his own life, she doesn’t expect him to sit up and speak. But John’s not quite ready to go…not yet. Trapped in the space between life and death, these two strangers begin a final, unexpected conversation. This intimate new play explores grief, regret and the question that lingers for so many families left behind by suicide… Why?
Please note: this production is suitable for ages 16+ only and contains sensitive themes including suicide and self-harm, grief and family trauma. If you have any queries about the production, please contact our team for further information or visit roevalleyarts.com
