The Secret of Kells

Saturday 1 August | 9.30am

Free but booking essential | Booking link available soon.

Young Brendan lives in a remote medieval outpost under siege from barbarian raids. But a new life of adventure beckons when a celebrated master illuminator arrives from the isle of Iona carrying an ancient but unfinished book, brimming with secret wisdom and powers. To help complete the magical book, Brendan has to overcome his deepest fears on a dangerous quest that takes him into the enchanted forest where mythical creatures hide.

This screening is part of the Cinemagic initiative 'Young Audiences Supporting Food Banks'.

Supported by Film Hub NI through the BFI FAN Film Exhibition Fund, awarding funds from National Lottery. Working in partnership with The Trussell Trust and local foodbanks to combat poverty and hunger.

Rather than paying to gain entry to the film screening, audiences are asked to donate an essential item / food item on the day to support the local community in Limavady via LCDI Foodbank.
