THE STEINBECK CONNECTION CHILDREN’S BOOK COVER EXHIBITION

Each year local primary school pupils are invited to design a book cover from a choice of three of John Steinbeck’s books. Hugely popular, this competition familiarises local children with the Pulitzer prize-winning author’s unique connection to the area, his internationally acclaimed works of literature and challenges their creative skills in producing their own visual artwork to capture the book’s content. This resulting exhibition is full of imagination and colour, guaranteed to make you smile!
