Roe Valley Arts Centre is delighted to present anama, a striking new exhibition by renowned artist Anne McAlarney, running from 11 January to 1 February 2025.

McAlarney’s work masterfully explores tensions between the lost and found, capturing the ephemeral and the tangible in a series of minimalist oil paintings on board. With a focus on brush marks and surrounding space, anama offers a meditative experience, where the simplicity of form evokes profound emotional depth.

Anne McAlarney’s anama is a celebration of minimalism that transforms the subtle into the significant, inviting audiences to reflect on the beauty of restraint and the stories hidden within the spaces between.

Join us on Saturday 18 January, at 1pm for the official launch of anama. Anne McAlarney will be present to share insights into her creative process and the inspiration behind this evocative collection. This exhibition and launch event are open to all.

For more information, visit anama or call 028 7776 0650.
