The Limavady-based company, Conductology C.I.C., has launched its Crowdfunder campaign. It is seeking donations to enable it to continue its ground-breaking work with individuals who have learning disabilities and special educational needs.

We were delighted in 2023 to host two performances by this innovative group.

What is Conductology?

Conductology is an innovative and exciting new approach to inclusive music-making which was meticulously researched and designed by Dr Denise White and Shaun Healy at Ulster University. It is a scientifically proven system of eighteen hand gestures which allow those with special educational needs, learning disabilities, and all those who would have previously found themselves excluded from the magic of music-making, to compose and conduct new music.

The personal benefits to participants in the Conductology programme are enormous and, given the universal language of music, Conductology’s unique approach could be expanded far beyond these shores.

How can you help?

The company, like many charitable organisations, faces funding difficulties, and so, in order to continue and expand its work and bring the benefit of its unique system to as many people as possible, Conductology C.I.C. would ask that people consider supporting them by visiting their Crowdfunder page and making a small donation.
