Friday Art Group - Art Apart

We are thrilled to present a new exhibition created by our Friday Art Group called Art Apart. The Art Group normally meet once a week, every Friday afternoon, in Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre to create artwork together and learn from one others skills over a cup of tea. Due to COVID-19 and the temporary closure of the centre the group have been unable to meet so instead we asked them to create an exhibition of the artwork they have been working on during the lockdown period. We hope that this exhibition will reflect the community that the Friday Art Group have created with one another, even though they are apart they still share their love for art and continue to create.

Some works are for sale. If you are interested in any artwork, please email esther.alleyne@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk and we thank you for supporting our wonderful local artists.

If you have a community group that you work with, or are a part of, that would like to engage in an art project in partnership with Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, or it’s sister centre in Portstewart, Flowerfeild Arts Centre, please contact esther.alleyne@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk
