Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre has an exciting season ahead, with live music, theatre, comedy, family events and exhibitions to inspire all ages. The year kicks off with a performance from Frances Black on 3 January, followed by The Dubliner – The Luke Kelly Story on 31 January, a heartfelt celebration of one of Ireland’s most iconic folk voices.

The much-loved Steinbeck Festival returns with a thought-provoking opening event, For and Against a United Ireland, featuring Northern Ireland’s finest interviewer Mark Carruthers in conversation with award-winning journalist and author Sam McBride. Drawing on McBride’s timely and provocative book, co-written with Fintan O’Toole, the discussion explores one of the defining questions of our time, presenting informed and balanced perspectives on the constitutional debate. Across the festival, audiences can also look forward to a rich programme of talks, exhibitions, theatre and creative events, continuing the Steinbeck Festival’s tradition of thoughtful conversation, artistic exploration and engagement with contemporary social themes.

Families with younger children can enjoy Maiden Voyage Dance’s Moonlight Dream on 10 February, a gentle, sensory-rich dance and live music journey created especially for 0–6-year-olds. During February half-term, Roe Valley welcomes the Northern Ireland Science Festival Roadshow, featuring W5 on Tour: The Hunt – Extreme Existence and a live appearance from Nick Arnold, creator of the Horrible Science series. Comedy fans can also look forward to a February performance of Give My Head Peace, while creative workshops for adults and children continue throughout the season.

We also have vibrant mix of creative workshops designed to spark imagination and inspire all ages. From storytelling-inspired crafts and immersive art sessions to hands-on activities for children and adults, each workshop invites you to explore new skills and express your creativity in a welcoming, inspiring space.

The January – April 2026 Arts Guide is available to download now or pick up a copy from the Arts Centre. Full listings and booking information for all events, workshops and exhibitions is live on our website now.

We look forward to welcoming you in 2026!
