On Saturday, 22nd February, we were delighted to welcome families, teachers, and young artists to the launch of The Steinbeck Connection Children’s Book Cover Exhibition. This annual competition invites local primary school pupils to reimagine book covers for three of John Steinbeck’s classic works, celebrating the Pulitzer Prize-winning author’s special connection to the area.
The exhibition is bursting with colour, creativity, and imagination, as each book cover reflects the children’s unique interpretations of Steinbeck’s stories. From bold illustrations to intricate designs, their artwork beautifully captures the themes and emotions of these literary classics.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, and to all who joined us for the launch! The exhibition runs until 22nd March, so be sure to drop by and see these fantastic works on display.
