Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre is set for an unforgettable Summer of Creativity and Fun!

Causeway Coast and Glens Arts Services have launched their Summer Arts Guide with a packed programme of live events, creative workshops and community activities to take place at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre in Limavady and Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart.

Roe Valley Arts Centre launches its annual August Children’s Month on Saturday 3rd August when families can enjoy pop-up art workshops, a chocolate-making factory, as well as paying a visit to the kindness kiosk. There will be enchanting walkabout characters, face-painting, live music, and storytelling.

The August Children’s Month programme ‘The Imaginarium’, will transport children through the realms of literature, film, theatre, science, and art. Kids can enjoy a visit to Wonka’s Invention Room, create their own Squishmallow mixed media art, join Shelley the Mermaid for yoga, create an ocean in a bottle and take part in a fantastic outreach visit from the Armagh Planetarium plus many more creative workshops (including a Roblox-themed workshop and lego animation), live theatre and family film.

The Roe Valley Arts Team are also delighted to be back at Stendhal on Friday 5th July with a packed programme in the Tent of Creativity including friendship bracelet making and dance and movement with Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company. The fun at Stendhal is all free so families are encouraged to call in and take part!

Roe Valley Arts Centre will also host a fantastic programme of Workshops for Adults throughout July and August offering the chance to explore the art of ancient Japanese textiles, silver jewellery making, foraging and more.

If you're looking for live music this Summer, Roe Valley Arts Centre is delighted to partner with the Danny Boy Jazz & Blues Festival to welcome back the much anticipated "The BE Project" (Belfast to Berlin) with a performance by Kaz Hawkins on 1st & 2nd August. This is a Guest Hire Event and tickets are available here - CLICK HERE.
